Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have ended their engagement.

The split was amicable, said Nicole Perna, a publicist for the pair.

The 44-year-old actress and 55-year-old singer have been engaged since March 2006. They first started dating in 1992 and spent five years together, Perna said, then rekindled their romance in 2005.

As it was happening yesterday, TMZ reported that Mackenzie Phillips was being busted at LAX for allegedly possessing heroin and cocaine.

"She's in custody right now," the Web site said.

At 10 a.m, officers arrived at Terminal 4, where the former "One Day at a Time" actress was being screened by transit security. During the screening process, some baggies and balloons believed to contain heroin and cocaine were recovered.
