A man survived after leaping from a bridge in Oakland this evening and tumbling into some trees and bushes below, a city dispatch supervisor said.
The man jumped from Schenley Drive, which spans a ravine and runs over Boundary Street, at around 6:30 p.m. He remained conscious after the fall and called 9-1-1.
The supervisor said the man had leg injuries but did not know his condition. He was transported to UPMC Presbyterian.
