Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early Sunday in Brookline.

An emergency dispatch supervisor said a man was stabbed at about 3 a.m. somewhere in Brookline then the victim was driven for unknown reasons to the South Side.

The extent of the injuries are unknown and no other details were immediately available.

Police are investigating.
