Steelers name team captains; place 8 on practice squad

The Steelers announced their eight-man practice squad and their four captains for the 20010 season this morning.

The players signed to the Steelers practice squad: TE Eugene Bright, OG Dorian Brooks, S Da'Mon Cromartie-Smith, WR Tyler Grisham, OT Kyle Jolly, DT Steve McLendon, FB Frank Summers and DE Doug Worthington.

The Steelers named only four captains, dropping three from last season and adding one, tight end Heath Miller. The three no longer captains are Ben Roethlisberger, Jeff Reed and James Harrison.

Joining Miller as captains are holdovers James Farrior, Hines Ward and special teams captain Keyaron Fox.
