Mercer County man seriously wounded in shooting

State police have arrested a Mercer County man in the shooting of a 24-year-old man, critically wounding him, after an argument Tuesday morning.

Michael Allen Kellner, 48, of Sandy Lake, was charged with aggravated assault in the shooting of Cody Brandon Noel, also of Sandy Lake, on Cemetery Road in Sandy Creek Township, Mercer County.

Mr. Noel was flown to a hospital in Pittsburgh with life-threatening injuries, police said. His condition was not available last night.

Mr. Kellner is being held in the Mercer County Jail on $100,000 straight bond.
